i have decided to choose agriculture as my mains optional...i
gone thru the entire syllabs of it and i found it as helpful and easy for me
wen compared to other subjects...im a pharmacy student...bt most of my
seniors r sayn tht its nt a common subj and its very tough wen compard to
pub ad etc...wat shud i do? shud i choose wat my heart says or listn to my
frnds rather thn to blame myself in future..nd plz suggest me certain books
for mains in agriculture

It is a subject is suited for B.Sc or M.Sc students with Agriculture in their graduation or PG. You should not pick up such a technical subject unless you've
studied it during college.
(Same for Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Medical Science etc.)
Finding right books books, older papers and guidance will be extremely difficult.
Every subject sounds 'easy' from the syllabus given in UPSC notification, but the devil lies in details- when you start preparing it on your own.
